The City has completed the process to implement new software in order to better serve employees and citizens.
In 2015, we began posting vacant positions on the internet and utilizing NeoGov software for the entire spectrum of the hiring process from application to interviews to selection.
We have implemented ExecuTime software in order to schedule and perform timekeeping functions for all employees throughout the City. Testing continues in this application.
And finally, we began utilizing new software for all accounting functions such as general ledger, budget, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash receipts, purchasing, code enforcement, and planning in early March 2016.
The combination of the integration of all three products will allow us to go paperless and share data across the City, which was simply not possible with our previous software.
We are very excited at the prospects for utilizing technology for a more efficient operation and look forward to becoming more familiar with the applications and all of the potential benefits.
