The City of North Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department won two awards at the 2016 Arkanas Recreation and Parks Association Conference and Tradeshow in Texarakana, Arkansas this week. The Country by the River Concert won Festival/Event (1-4 Years Old) of the Year. The Department in collaboration with the Burns Park Tennis Center won the Clean Conscious Tennis Ball Recycling Contest for the program of recycling old tennis balls.
