North Little Rock has selected seven CPPW grant objectives to complete by September 2012:

1. Revise and implement NLR School District's wellness policy to ensure that quality physical activity opportunities are offered district-wide for students and staff during after-school hours.
2. Implement a school wellness policy to include nutrition standards for all food service venues. Ensure healthy options are accessible to students and staff.
3. Implement a school district Worksite Wellness Policy to increase physical activity and improve nutrition among school employees.
4. Implement a Worksite Wellness Policy for City of NLR employees to promote physical activity, access to healthy food options and social support.
5. Implement a policy requiring the availability of healthy food options in city-owned and/or operated public facilities in NLR.
6. Establish Joint Use Agreements to provide accessible places for physical activity in NLR.
7. Implement a policy to support and strengthen community garden initiatives.
