FEMA REGISTRATION INTAKE Location
1300 Pike Avenue, NLR
(adjacent to the NLR Tornado Relief Volunteer Sign-In Site)

There are many steps and this location will help with initial paperwork. This temporary location will be open for a few days. A permanent location will be announced in the near future.

mailThe United States Postal Service has continued to attempt to deliver mail in affected areas in our city. Customers must have a mailbox to deliver to—for those that do not, undeliverable mail is taken back to the post office. The JFK location stated that starting tomorrow, what cannot be delivered, residents will be asked to pick up in person. Residents can pick up mail in person by providing their name and identification. They will also allow a relative to pick up mail for them, as long as they provide the name and identification for the mail they are retrieving.

Many residents have already requested a hold on their mail or requested their mail be forwarded to a temporary address. Both of these options can be done online at usps.com.
